Influence of Sitobion avenae (Fabricius, 1775) aphid and some insecticides on both content of and ratios between photosynthetic pigments in the leaves of three barley cultivars

Abstract: Investigation is the influence of Sitobion avenae (Fabricius, 1775) aphid and insecticides Furi 10 EC (И1) – 12.5 ml/da and Aktara 25 VG (И2) – 8 g/da on contents and ratios between photosynthetic pigments in the leaves of three barley cultivars – Emon, Veslets and IZ Bori. It was found that the extent of damage to plants is dependent on the density of the aphids and the type of the used insecticide, as well as the species and varietal tolerance to the host. Of the investigate of barley variety, IZ Bori is the most resistant to attack by the leaf aphids and application of insecticides И1 and И2.
