Lavender essential oil - properties and uses

Abstract: Lavender oil is a potential natural source of raw material for the pharmaceutical industry. It has many beneficial effects on the body – antioxidant, antimicrobial, antitumor, antimycotic, soothing, anti-inflammatory, insecticidal, etc. Its application is promising in the future, in view of the development of resistance of most pathogens to conventional drugs.
