Abstract: The study was carried out at the Institute of Agriculture, Karnobat, Bulgaria in the period of 2014-2016. The aim of the study was to present agrobiological characteristics and productive ability of advanced breeding lines winter feed barley var. pallidum. The highest weight of 1000 grains had line К-3112-13 - 42.7 g. The line К-4848-13 had the highest crude protein content-12.9%. Different conditions during the years of cultivation have the greatest impact on grain yield in studied lines winter barley from the var.pallidum. The lines К-3112-13, К-1724-12, К-3110-13 and К-4848-13 had high and stable grain yield. The highest grain yield had the line К-3127- 13 – mean 767 kg/dka. Most favorable to the realization of higher yields of the tested lines feed barley was 2016 and to a lesser extent was 2014.
