Abstract: Study was conducted in the period of 2013 – 2015. The subject of study was Hull Thornless blackberry cultivar in the collection plantation of RIMSA – Troyan. The plant protection grass species, which are included in the scientific experiment for establishment of inter-row grass cover, are common bird‘sfoot-trefoil, late ripening bird’s-foot-trefoil and a mixture of vetch with barley. Their influence over the chemical composition of blackberry fruits was studied.
Higher values were found for the indicators, such as indicators for dry matter according to Re %, dry weight % and tanning substance % of fruits in variants with late ripening and common bird‘s-foot-trefoil.
