Walnut propagation an overview

Abstract: The article provides an overview of the methods for walnut propagation. The results of different experiments were presented and discussed. Special attention was paid to budding and grafting as the most promising techniques for propagation of that fruit species. The influence of separate elements, such as the cultivar, temperature and humidity on the success of propagation were also discussed. It was concluded that the countries producing walnut planting material could increase their production by combining various walnut propagation methods.
