Study of the reaction of local and introduced bean accessions (Ph. vulgaris L.) to causal agent of common blight under field and laboratory conditions

Abstract: The legumes plants are of importance for population food as a source of cheep plant protein. Traditional food for Bulgarians is field beans. In our country were established three main bacterial diseases of this crop, the most distributed one was Xan¬thomonas campestris pv. Рhaseoli. There weren’t created resistant varieties till now. The tolerance to the main bacterial diseases was studied in field conditions. The results were scored and the middle tolerant accessions were: А7Е 0684, А9Е 1208, А9Е 1211, А9Е 1257, А9Е 1275, А9Е 1289.
