Exploring new means for controlling of broomrape (Orobanche spp.) on tobacco

Резюме: The high flourish, root parasite broomrape (Orobanche spp.) is a serious problem for tobacco production. Control of this pest is particularly difficult, owing to the peculiarities of its biology and physiology. The possibilities of two new pesticides to control the parasite were examined. The purpose of the study is the replacement of used until now preparations included in the prohibitive list for use and optimize the technologies to control the tobacco broomrape. As a result, the effectiveness is determined of the preparations against this parasite.
